Sarah’s Story
Isaiah—January 11, 2019
A single mother of three, Sarah was 26 when she discovered she was pregnant with her fourth. When she told the baby’s father she was pregnant, he was adamant that she have an abortion and she surrendered to the pressure of the moment.
Five weeks into her pregnancy, a heartbeat was detected on ultrasound, but all Sarah could hear was the father’s urge to “take care of this.” She took the first drug in the chemical abortion regimen, then returned home and cried. “I couldn’t look at my other three children in the face without breaking down and telling myself this baby deserves love just as much as these three in front of me,” she said.
Sarah searched the internet for ways to undo the effects of the pill she had taken. She called Heartbeat’s Abortion Pill Rescue Network and found a doctor nearby who could begin the reversal treatment.
“I wanted to try whatever I could to reverse the worst decision I had made,” Sarah said.
By the next week, her baby had a strong heartbeat and her doctor was confident in the process. Sarah gave birth to a healthy son named Isaiah and said “I have never been more grounded in my faith, nor blessed.”

Misdy and Tig
Misdy’s Story
Tig —Fall 2016
Misdy found herself in a situation where the only “practical solution” pointed to an abortion. She had six kids, a troubled marriage, and had just started a new job to help make ends meet. The news of a pregnancy was overwhelming and she justified taking the abortion pill.
As soon as Misdy took the first dose of the abortion pill regimen, she knew she had made a horrible mistake. Thankfully, she found Heartbeat’s Abortion Pill Rescue Network and was able to make a second choice to save her pregnancy.
And, yet, the fight was not over.
Then, at 19 weeks her baby was diagnosed with Trisomy 21—Down syndrome, the most common chromosomal condition in the U.S. When Misdy’s doctor suggested an abortion, she broke down and cried.
“My first thought was, ‘You don’t know how hard it’s been to stay pregnant,’” she wrote. “How could I even think of doing it now? He was a baby with hands and feet and a heartbeat that I got to see once a week on ultrasound.”
Rejecting his recommendation, Misdy chose life again!
At 31 weeks, Misdy went into preterm labor and gave birth to her baby boy, Tig Lee.
“I know now that Tig was sent here to me for a reason,” she said. “He is the light and the best baby ever. He puts a smile on my face every single day.”
Kristina and Christian
Kristina’s Story
Christian—August 5, 2016
Twenty-five and single, Kristina was not ready to be a parent, so she took the abortion pill. After talking with her mother, she realized she made the wrong decision and sought hard to find a way to reverse it. Jessica had begun her first year of nursing school and had just left her spouse who had a drug and alcohol problem when she found out she was pregnant with her second child. Subsequently, her 3-year-old son was diagnosed with mild to moderate autism and she didn’t know if she could handle it all.
After confirming her pregnancy at the doctor’s office, she decided to take the first abortion pill. Jessica immediately began to cry, realizing what she had just done.

When Emily discovered she was pregnant, she was happy, surprised, and scared all at the same time. A freshman in college and living at home, she feared her parents’ reaction. Although her sister and her best friend gave encouragement, the father of her baby responded with anger telling her that he wanted nothing to do with her or the baby...she decided abortion was her only choice.
At four weeks pregnant, she made an abortion appointment at Planned Parenthood. After taking the first part of the abortion pill regimen, she left feeling terrible.
“I began to pray as hard as I could for forgiveness and help,” Emily said.

After her marriage ended and she became pregnant from another relationship which did not last, Ashley sought an abortion. With two young children at home, she thought a new baby was the last thing she needed. Though never an abortion supporter, she felt justified because of her situation. She remarried last year, returned to nursing school, and is set to complete her studies in May 2020. Ashley now looks forward to raising awareness about the Network so that she can help save lives as well!

Angela is a highly-educated woman and mother of two. With her marriage ending and her divorce in the works, she developed a relationship with a new man and became pregnant. Upon sharing the news with her boyfriend, he became angry and disappeared.
While perceived by many as a strong, successful woman, Angela felt very alone and scared. Angela chose abortion for her child.

Wisdom’s Story
Queen Brielle LyNay — May 19, 2020
Discovering she was 6 weeks pregnant as a senior in high school, Wisdom was worried that she wouldn’t be able to graduate and that her mother would kick her out of the house. To avoid these concerns, she decided the abortion pill was her only option.
She took the first of the two-pill regimen at the abortion facility and the other dose was called to a pharmacy where her mother would later pick them up. Recognizing what she was purchasing for her daughter, Wisdom’s mother became distraught and talked to her daughter about the choice she had just made.
Realizing that she had her mother’s support, Wisdom immediately sought a way to reverse the effects of the abortion pill.
