What is a Pregnancy Help Organization (PHO)?
Pregnancy Help Organizations include many types of service providers that support women wherever they are in their pregnancy journey and beyond:
- Pregnancy Help Centers (PHC)
- Pregnancy Resource Centers (PRC): Non-profit organizations that assist women with unexpected pregnancies.
- Pregnancy Medical Centers (PMC): Provide limited medical care including pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal care, and STI/STD testing.
- Maternity Homes: Supportive housing for pregnant women that fosters stability in areas like education, employment, and health.
