The International Women’s Hope Centre is a community-based facility designed to meet women’s health needs as well as touch their hearts. We exist for girls and women who find themselves in unexpected pregnancies.

In the last year, we have reached more than 2000 students and young people in rural areas With RUC program. We have also served about 56 girls facing an unplanned pregnancy.
Client Testimony
My name is Juliet Kolanbik. I am 20 years old final year student of Bolgatanga Senior High School in the Upper East Region of Ghana offering Business as a course. I come from the village from Bumbruku a village in the Northern Region and hail from a family of eight siblings. I got pregnant in my final year at the senior high school and delivered a baby girl on the 29thof April 2018 whiles writing my final exams. My parents are not able to support me due to having many children so I have to find ways to support myself by getting with a man who promised to help me to adjust to life in the Senior High School hence but he left when I got pregnant.
I have no one to help me so someone introduced me to the International Women’s Hope Center (IWHC) for assistance. The center supported me emotionally, and with maternity, clothes and baby clothes and baby personal care items. IWCH also counseled me and encouraged me. I thank IWCH for helping me and my baby.

Lydia - A Beating Heart - Macedonia
Lydia – A Beating Heart is the first and only pro-life pregnancy resource center in Macedonia. Abortion is used without a second thought as the primary form of birth control in Macedonia and throughout the Balkans. Often, when a woman is asked why she wants an abortion, she simply shrugs her shoulders and says she doesn’t really have a reason other than she wasn’t planning on getting pregnant at this particular time. Most of the women having abortions in Macedonia already have a family. Having more than two children is very anti-cultural, so most women abort all pregnancies after the first two. Many women will have multiple abortions in their lifetime.
From 2013-2019, there were some laws in place restricting abortion. A woman less than 12 weeks pregnant was required to wait 72 hours, have counseling, and get an ultrasound. If she was over 12 weeks pregnant, she must obtain the signatures of three physicians approving the abortion. In 2019, these laws were reversed. Currently, unrestricted abortion is allowed up through 22 weeks of pregnancy, and late-term abortions are allowed after approval by a medical consultation with two physicians and a social worker. The abortion pill also became legal in 2019.
We were so grateful for the more restrictive laws, but regardless of legal status, our goal is to change the cultural concepts surrounding abortion and adoption. The Lydia Center is dedicated to counseling and helping women while promoting the value of life and the rights of the pre-born baby. Our goal is to love, support, and assist women facing unplanned pregnancies, post-abortion trauma, and other family-related crises.
Client Stories:
“C’s” Story
To experience a reproductive loss is hard, but to go through three miscarriages is unthinkable and very hard to describe.
A few months passed when “C” came to us for the first time. She and her husband were trying to get pregnant, but they were experiencing miscarriages one, after another. “C” s husband was the one who initiated her visit. They were having marital problems for a while. In the beginning, she wasn’t open to talking about her losses, and she didn’t believe the counseling would help her. But with time, she started to open up and she realized she really needed someone to talk to, to share her emotions, and her feelings, to talk about her relationships with her husband and everyone around her. Through a creative task, “C” was encouraged to allow herself to mourn and grieve her losses.
One day she decided to get a balloon and together with her husband and daughter write letters to their angels in Heaven. They put the notes in the balloon, took a walk, and they let the balloon into the sky.
She shared that she never knew she is allowed to grieve the loss of her three children. She never knew that she is allowed to make significant losses. “C” was encouraged to continue to come and together with her husband to work on themselves, on their marriage so they can understand each other better and give the mutual support they need.

"I look at myself and I can't believe that this is me.
In just a few months you have made a different person
out of me, you brought me back to life, back to normal...
You are my light at the end of the tunnel.
Just when I thought I was finished, you showed up,
you gave me back my faith, hope and love for myself.
I can't believe that there are people who still want
to help. In the most difficult time you helped me a lot.
I don't know how to thank you.
If I had 100 lives, it wouldn't be enough to repay you!
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you
have done for me. Be blessed!”

Life Seed of Tanzania
Elizabeth Massaba is the Founder and President of Life seed of Tanzania. Elizabeth developed a passion for the Pro-Life movement after herself being among the beneficiaries of Pregnancy Decision Center of Ohio (PDHC). She was privileged to receive PDHC support and services while schooling as an international student in Columbus, Ohio in 2001. After that, she carried a seed to her heart and had the desire to spread the fruit to fellow Tanzanian’s where she was born and raised.
Life Seed of Tanzania was formed for the purpose of saving lives by highlighting the sanctity of human life to the Tanzanian community. Its main role is to reach and rescue those who are abortion-vulnerable and provide a message of life. To achieve this mission, Life seed of Tanzania identifies areas of need from the community and provide education, useful links, and information to the need where necessary. The main goal is to have a community that understands and is aware and active in the sanctity of human life.
Life seed affiliation with other Pro-life ministries resulted in its existence and development. With affiliation trainings, coaching, and resources we were able to turn the idea of having a platform to save lives into reality. On the abortion recovery sessions, attendees were healed and transformed. The opportunity to attend the 2017 Heartbeat Annual Conference was an added advantage as it has expanded the ideas of how we can reach the abortion-vulnerable. Through conference workshops and affiliate networking, we are currently dedicated to reaching youths through school programs.
Life seed of Tanzania has also impacted walk-in vulnerable who left testimonies of how post-abortion counseling has changed the way they perceive life.

Be'ad Chaim - Israel
Be'ad Chaim was established in 1988 in Israel.
Be'ad Chaim's mission is to open the eyes of women and men to an alternative to abortion so that they will choose life and to end abortion on demand in Israel.
Under Director Sandy Shoshani’s leadership, Be’ad Chaim started a project called Operation Moses, which provides free maternity help and baby items throughout the first year after a child is born. Since starting Operation Moses, Shoshani and her volunteer team have paid the first year’s expenses for well over 1,500 mothers—helping as many as 450 women at a time.
In addition to Operation Moses, Be’ad Chaim is helping the women and men heal from past abortions with a project called “The Gardens of Life,” which has helped over 2,000 women and men from all over the world grieve a child they lost through abortion.
With 20 trained consultants in the nation—including three in Jerusalem, two in Beersheba and one in Tel Aviv—Be’ad Chaim’s primary means for reaching abortion-vulnerable women is word of mouth.

Our Vision: A world in which every child will be welcome.
Our Goal: To protect the person inside the mother's womb, to turn the hearts of parents to children, to reduce the demand for abortion in our society, relying on the Word of God and the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ, to practice mercy, to convey truth, turning fears into confidence and confusion into the hope for the future.
Client Testimony: Baby Eva says:
“When I saw the light, it was hard for me to breathe. Something squeezed my chest, my lungs did not fully open. They put me under an oxygen pillow. Sometimes I heard my mother's voice, but more often strangers in white coats and masks. But soon everything changed, and I ended up only with my mother. It was very hot, stuffy, but my mother was there, and I felt more cheerful. I am very glad that new people are chirping around me, it's funny to watch and sniff them. I do not like clothes at all and am suspicious of water. Some familiar woman appeared, who consoles my mother all the time, sometimes they pray together, they envelops me in a kind of cloud. We also drove far away together, it was a pleasure. It's still interesting to live, although a little scary. Mom notices that I always want to see where, who is doing what, and does not allow me to be ignored. Mom thinks that I am afraid that I will not be forgotten. And it is true. The feeling that I might be unnecessary to anyone and the fear that they want to get rid of me. I am Eva and I am already 2.5 months old"
No one has ever heard the voice of a baby inside the womb, we do not know for sure what he feels and what he understands. His feelings, knowledge and voice in his heartbeat. The maternity center is determined to listen to this signal of life and pave the way for it.

Silent Voices Uganda
Silent voices Uganda is an interdenominational organization which was founded in 2009 registered as community based organization in 2012 having found out that there were rampant cases of abortion especially among school girls and young women leading to death of babies and their mothers as a result of abortion.
Although the clergy, Christians and the community condemn it there was no effort put to actively sensitize society and institutions about the dangers, physical complications of abortion and its long term effects and in addition train these girls in skills for self-reliance and sustainable livelihood.
So our VISION is promoting openness, tolerance, forgiveness, reconciliation as a means of protecting life and sustainable development.
Our MISSION is carrying out sensitization on abortion, reconciliation, mobilization and skills acquisition on to common action plan of development.
Client Testimony
Silent voices Uganda since its inception has sensitized over 3,000 school girls and boys in schools such as Halycon High School, Jeressah High School, Bethany Girls senior Secondary School, Cross roads Soroti Senior Secondary School, Light Secondary School, Manafa Secondary School Pioneer Primary School, Aminit Vocational Institute. We have reached 120 young mothers with social material support such as clothing, soap. Out of family resources and since we started this vision in 2009, we have now registered young single mothers who have been a abandoned by the boys who impregnated them and then they run away, leaving them with no help and this group is over 3,000 young mothers in the districts where silent voices operates from.
Silent voices Uganda carries out pregnancy tests in schools when girls return after voices and many of them who are found testing positive in pregnancy are encouraged to keep the pregnancy and then return to school after delivery which has been successful.
Silent voices helped 3 girls to return to school and two of them have finished courses in teaching and Midwifery. It’s upon these that we request for your support in terms of finances, training and pregnancy facility development. We will greatly appreciate your support in any way which is possible to you.

Movimento per la Vita
Movimento Per la Vita Italiano (MPVI) is the most prominent Italian Pro-life Association. It has the mission to defend and promote the value of human life “from the conception to the natural death” without exceptions.
Since 1975, MPVI has been actively working nationwide to promote the right to life and the value of human dignity. It meets pregnant women who need help with tailor-made empowerment projects: every story, every woman, is different and unique.
Solidarity, democracy, non-confessional purpose, and specificity are the other values inspiring the Movement service.
At a glance:
We welcome every mother with difficulty, maybe hesitating to keep her baby.
Our challenge is reaching many more mothers through SOS VITA service.
Let Us Help Her.
SOS Vita
In addition to CAVs and Homes, the MPV offers the Option Line called "SOS VITA," which includes a free line (+39 800 813 000) and an online chat (sosvita.it). Both these services are open 24/7.
It is the best solution to overcome the fear of judgment and the shame of some girls and still offer them listening until the last moment before choosing their pregnancy.
Carlo's Life: A Gift for Everyone
In 2019, during the pandemic, Beatrice was only 19 years old. She had recently started college and dreamed of becoming a professor of Math. Caught by the sudden pandemic, she isolated herself from her family in the city where she studied. She approached that neighbor, a handsome young man, a late-year student in law school. She got pregnant. Desperate and isolated, Bea surfed on the Internet, found a contact, and found SOS VITA. Thanks to the support of our volunteer, called like her mother, she felt supported and decided to keep her baby. At the baptism of Carlo, Beatrice invited all her uncles, even those with whom there had been misunderstandings. Thanks to the birth of little Carlo, the parents met her uncles, they clarified themselves, and today the family is more united than before.

Client Testimony:
I had three clients who changed their minds about abortion after counseling. Once was a student who was convinced that she cannot keep her baby and that her parents would not accept her pregnancy. After our counseling, she talked with her mother and both parents responded differently than she had expected. (Counsellor from Options Care Centre...George...South Africa)
Pregnancy Help Network convenes an annual conference that facilitates networking opportunities with centers in SA which help each center to learn what has been tried and is working and where we can make improvements in our own centers.
