Nothing. – The enemy will weave quite the tale of anything and everything to create fear within us. We are too much of this, we are too much of that or we’ve never been this or that.  We’ve partaken in parts of this world. We’ve spoken when we shouldn’t have. We’ve been in circles that we shouldn’t have ever sat amongst.  We can each fill in the blank of what Satan tries to put in our minds that creates fear within us if we let him.  Yet, all he gets to do is to muddy the water and create fear.  We get to decide what we do with that fear.

Neither death nor life. Satan likes to use death to scare us. Yet, nowhere in God’s Word are we guaranteed any more days than the ones God has allotted for us already known before we have breathed our very first breath.  God knows. Satan doesn’t hold the power of death or life.  He can’t create life nor can he extinguish it.  He likes to exploit it and create fear within us but God is all powerful.  Always.  We get to decide how much we allow him to exploit in our life. 

Neither angels nor demons. The spiritual realm is ever so real.  As we find our place serving as medical missionaries in this movement, we may find that these are the days and times when we find the most opposition from our car not starting, the babysitter being late, to literally being struck by lightning!  The spiritual warfare can be quite intense.  And, yet, He is greater. 

Neither present nor future. He, Who is omnipresent, knows everything from beginning to end. Nothing, nothing takes Him by surprise.

Nor any powers. It may seem that there are many authorities in our world and, yet, there is One Who holds authority over all.  He simply does.  So when it seems impossible for mountains in our lives to move, we can watch with anticipation that He not only can move the mountains but He was the Creator of the mountains. 

Neither height nor depth.  As we step out in faith to image the unborn, opposition will come from many directions.  Let us keep our focus on the One Who called us.  We might have answered “Yes” because we simply thought we were just “helping out” or maybe we thought it would be an easier “job” of sorts and have found ourselves in something way bigger than ourselves.  Don’t fight it. Lean into Him.  For those of us who need to look for our Bibles and dust them off, let that be one of the first things we do.  For those of us who have yet to buy one, let us take that first step of getting to know Him better.  For those of us who struggle with realizing that He loves us deeply, let us be reminded today of how true that is.

Nor anything else in all creation.  Opposition comes in many different forms.  For some of us, it may come by way of “friendly fire”, by those who should by all accounts be our greatest supporters and encouragers.  These are often the ones who hurt the worst.  The betrayal is visceral and ever so painful. Yet, even in times such as these, He is ever faithful.  We simply need to keep eyes on Him, surround ourselves with others who will speak Truth in our life and have faith that He will equip those He has called.
