'Rachel' contacted Option Line in May 2025 through chat. She was a junior in high school and had recently found out she was pregnant. An appointment was made with her local pregnancy center. Today, she reached back out and had this to say:
"Hi, I talked here last year and had my baby boy in Dec. I love him more than I ever thought I could, and [I'm] so glad he's here. I’ve thought about everything that led to this, and that convo really stayed with me, I’m not sure I would have made the same choice without it."
"That conversation we had last year really stuck with me and was such a turning point for me when everything felt impossible. I’m so grateful for how you talked me through things and just listened. It really mattered more than you probably know."
She mentioned the pregnancy center was very helpful, that she took classes there, and received baby supplies. She said it was a combination of her conversation with Option Line and seeing her ultrasound at the pregnancy center that led to her choosing life for her son.

Megan writes:
"Back in May, I found out I was pregnant while I was in the middle of filing for a divorce from my spouse. In June, after pressure from family members, I took the first abortion pill at 10 weeks and, within an hour, immediately regretted my decision. I started frantically googling my options and found the APR 24-hour hotline, and within 10 hours of taking the pill, I was prescribed progesterone to reverse the effects.
I did have some vaginal bleeding about 24 hours after taking the first abortion pill, but at the ER, an ultrasound showed that my baby was miraculously still alive. With the help of APR, they continued to provide me with progesterone pills and follow-up ultrasounds at the Birth Choice clinic, which showed that my baby had not only survived but was thriving.
My baby was born at 39 weeks and 5 days at a healthy 7 pounds and 2 ounces, and I am truly grateful to APR for the treatment that they provided because without them, I wouldn’t have had my beautiful baby girl. They provided immediate support very quickly, and the staff at the Birth Choice Clinic helped me mentally cope with my guilt and regret after what I did. I felt nothing but kindness and compassion from them."

Do you have a heart to reach women with alternatives to abortion? If so, we are grateful you do! We often get questions from people just like you looking for a way to point women in the midst of an abortion decision to our resources with billboard campaigns. Below are tried and true tips to make an effective billboard campaign.
Billboards are best read further than 500 feet away, so you have a short time to connect your message to those driving by. The average driver has about 5 to 10 seconds to view your billboard design, read any text, and comprehend the message, so try for fewer than 10 words total. (Yes, that includes URLs and phone numbers!)
Text-wise, that is. Make sure any text in your design is printed in clean, bold font to ensure the best readability. Also, the larger the font, the more time a driver has to read and understand your message at a distance, so go big!
Colors are your friend here. Use bright colors or a bold image in your design to effortlessly attract eyes to your billboard. Contrasting colors within the design will also create an even bigger impact that will help improve the retention of your message.
Highways and high-impact areas (such as next to an abortion clinic) are key locations. If you post in an area near a highway where you know many travel from, you can equip women along the way. For billboards located very close to abortion clinics, you can reach women with a message of care and support both entering and exiting the location.
Fun, trendy billboards have their place; however, this mission is serious. Don't try to be clever or cute with the wording on a billboard in a way that distracts from the mission. Anything that requires a second look will lose potential clients.
Here are a few samples that might help get you started with a billboard campaign in your area!
For the first time in decades, the Supreme Court of the United States has the chance to be comprised primarily of Constitutionalists. As defined by Stanford University, "Constitutionalism is the idea, often associated with the political theories of John Locke and the founders of the American republic, that government can and should be legally limited in its powers, and that its authority or legitimacy depends on its observing these limitations."
“For such a time as this…” Esther 4:14
The nomination of Judge Amy Coney Barrett not only demonstrates to the Supreme Court faith in the vision and values put in writing by our nation's founders, but also provides our nation's youth with a role model which embodies the truth that we in the pregnancy help movement have known for years; Women do not need to choose between a career and a family.
"You shall appoint for yourself… which the LORD your God is giving you, according to your tribes, and they shall judge the people with righteous judgment.” Deut. 16:18
Given the right tools and support, anyone can accomplish anything they set their minds to. This is the message of hope that our network of pregnancy help offers to women, families, and communities each and every day.
