As laws around the country change regarding the legal use of marijuana, information and misinformation around the use of marijuana in pregnancy seems to exist everywhere. Join us Wednesday August 21 to get the facts on how marijuana can affect both mom and baby. Not only will we discuss the health risks posed by marijuana use to the baby, but we'll also discuss clients' perceptions regarding marijuana use during pregnancy, as well how to approach the topic and have meaningful conversations with clients on this important topic.

Leann graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the Michigan State University College of Nursing. She has specialized primarily in Maternal/Infant Nursing but has worked in other areas as well. She is currently the Nurse Manager at Spero Center in Port Huron, Michigan. She performs the limited ultrasounds at the center and actively works to build bridges in the community with the center. Leann is a board member for the local SOS Food Pantry and on the Troop 216 Committee for Boy Scouts of America. She is the mother of 4 children and enjoys supporting her children’s many activities.
1. Refunds for non-attendance will only be awarded if non-attendance is the direct result of an unplanned or unannounced outage. When a registrant is unable to access a webinar/course due to an unplanned or unannounced server outage of Heartbeat International Academy, the HeartbeatInternational.org website, or HeartbeatServices.org website, Heartbeat International will contact the registrant to notify them of the refund due them and issue the refund. Refund will be made to the registrant within 1 week of the cancelled event subject to processing fees.
2. When a course/webinar is cancelled for which individuals have registered, Heartbeat International will send a notification to each registrant per email or phone. Full refund will be sent to registrant within one week of cancellation.
