One of the key areas where you can exercise tremendous influence on the lives of the moms is in the culture and traditions of your maternity homes. Culture impacts every dimension of your program including how an organization thinks, acts, and interacts.  Drawing from the popular framework of "Belong, Believe, Behave", this webinar will discuss building a culture of belonging so as to facilitate internal and external growth in the mothers.

Mary Peterson is the Housing Specialist for Heartbeat International and the Facilitator for the National Maternity Housing Coalition.  In these roles, she draws from her experience as a founder of a maternity housing program which in her 15 years of leadership grew to include 4 homes, a thrift store, a transitional housing program, and an outreach center for alumnae of the program.  Mary currently resides in Washington, DC and is pursuing graduate studies in Theology.
