Staff Nurse

We are looking for a part-time RN, BSN, RDMS or a Nurse Practitioner, with a heart for pro-life ministry to manage our new pregnancy clinic in Bartow, Florida. This person would manage the medical portion of Options & Choices services. The individual will be required to perform Pregnancy Tests, Limited Ultrasounds (training provided if needed), and STI Testing under the direction of the Medical and Executive Directors and will be directly supervised by the main clinic Nurse Manager at Options for Women, PHC in Lakeland. Advocate

We are looking for a part-time Patient Advocate with a heart for pro-life ministry to serve in our new pregnancy clinic in Bartow, Florida. The Advocate is a facilitator throughout a patient's appointment. The Advocate gathers information about the patient's situation, present options for her pregnancy and offers referrals to gather help in the community. She helps transition the patient to the medical staff and is involved with the follow-up process throughout the entire decision making process and pregnancy. Specific training is provided in our patient process, including that of crisis intervention and interpersonal skill development. Resident Director

The Resident Director will be present on site five (24-hour) days each week. She will perform administrative tasks, supervise and manage program staff, and oversee daily house management. Resident Assistant

The Resident Assistant will work a 40-hour week in addition to remaining at the house (on call) overnight two nights each week. She will be the acting director of the house in the absence of the Resident Director. Her responsibilities include supervising daily house management, ensuring that residents complete household duties, and enforcing house policies by reporting incidents to the Resident Director. Guidance Counselor

The Counselor will work a flexible 40-hour work week based on each resident’s schedule. She will meet with residents individually at least three times each week for at least one hour a session and maintain daily session records. She will be responsible to assist residents in setting up a personal growth plan and guide them in accomplishing all program and personal goals and objectives. Her additional responsibilities will be to teach quarterly life skills classes, provide spiritual and emotional counseling, and facilitate life transition upon exit from the program. Saint Child - Beaverton, Oregon

Resident Assistant

Saint Child is a Christian, maternity home offering transitional housing and support to pregnant young women between the ages of 14-24. We are here to encourage positive outcomes for both the young women we serve and their babies.

Provides residential care and supervision on weekends in accordance with DHS licensing standards and Saint Child policies and procedures. Supporting clients as they work on their individual goals, life skills and parenting education, supporting clients at medical appointments, transportation to various appointments/meetings, monitoring the condition of the house, support clients in adhering to community and individual responsibilities, and encouraging clients on their faith journey. 
A high level of trust, confidentiality, and teamwork is required for this position.

RAs can expect to work between 1-2 weekends per month. There is also an opportunity for extra shifts during the week when the week day staff are on vacation.

Compensation for this position is paid at an hourly rate of $11.25/hour. Each 24 hour shift results in compensation for 16 hours with 8 hours of each shift reserved for sleeping or other personal preparations. Room and board is provided during shift. 

Qualifications :

Public Relations, Marketing, and Advertising

  • Ensure brand identity and congruency throughout organization.
  • Work closely with the Executive Director to develop a public relations and advertising plan. 
  • Design and oversee production of all major print and electronic publications and communications.
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote A Woman’s Concern’s mission to both internal constituencies and the community at large. 

Resource Generation

  • Manage all strategies and activities for donor cultivation, solicitation and relations. 
  • Lead fundraising and collaborative partnerships: Design, implement and manage all fundraising activities including annual giving, endowment and capital campaigns, special projects and other solicitations. 
  • Maintain contact with and develop grant proposals for foundations and corporations. 
  • Develop and manage a comprehensive planned-giving program. 
  • Oversee gift processing and information systems ensuring that office systems and technology appropriately support advancement efforts.
  • Schedule, manage and conduct regular face-to-face visits with prospects for the purpose of soliciting major gifts and advancing relationships.
  • Attend networking events to increase A Woman’s Concern’s professional network, refine relationship management skills, and enhance A Woman’s Concern’s outreach and capacity.
  • Report regularly to the Executive Director on plans, programs, issues and accomplishments.

Stewardship

  • Create spirit of gratitude for all gifts of time, talent and treasure.
  • Implement recognition programs and opportunities for the expression of thanks.
  • Nurture and cultivate all constituent relationships.

LifeMatters Coordinator

Alpha Omega Center is looking for a qualified individual who is passionate about abstinence education to lead our LifeMatters department. The successful candidate will enjoy overseeing and working closely with the LifeMatters Coordinator in continuing to develop the LifeMatters team and increasing the number of venues at which to present. This is a challenging but rewarding public speaking position requiring being adept at interacting with youth and adults from various backgrounds while dealing with a sensitive subject.
